In 1995 I started a conference to train physicians in all different aspects of Complementary and Alternative medicine.  Our first conference at Snowbird Resort in Salt Lake City was a tremendous success.  This conference continued for an additional 4 years and hosted some of the world’s best medical thinkers and speakers. SopMed also became a training entity to help physicians expand their knowledge base.  It has almost become a family of its own, made up of like-minded practitioners who are on the cutting-edge of integrative medicine.
